Tropical Padel in the Philippines
With over 7,500 islands, of which amazingly only a quarter are named on international maps the Philippines is one of the largest archipelagos in the world. Located in the southeast corner is the well-known island of Siargao. Located in the Philippine Sea, this tropical paradise is known as the “Surfing Capital of the Philippines” and attracts a constant flow of both domestic and international travellers. Nestled in the southeast crown of the island is the idyllic retreat: Nay Palad Hideaway. Just outside the bustle of General Luna and enveloped by sand and sea, it is a resort that emphasises the simplicity of being.
The design of the resort, envisioned by Daniel Pouzet, and its creation, spearheaded by Bobby Dekeyser, reflect a deep commitment to wellness and ecological harmony. The architecture and landscaping feature traditional carpentry that honours local craftsmanship and blends discreetly with the natural environment. From utopian gardens that invite quiet contemplation, to treetop houses that offer an elevated perspective of the island’s beauty, every element at Nay Palad is thoughtfully curated to enhance one’s experience.
The resort's philosophy is centred on flexibility and personalised service, with a dedicated team ready to facilitate a blend of leisure and exhilarating activities. Whether you wish to unwind with a yoga session under the open sky, partake in a boat ride exploring the nearby marine ecosystems, or challenge yourself with surfing lessons provided by expert instructors, Nay Palad stands as a testament to the beauty of blending sport with serene elegance.

A winding pathway through polished, lush gardens, bordered by sumptuous palm trees, reveals a modern yet simple padel court. With an elevated spectator bench - embellished with wooden parasols and cushions for comfort - the court can be as sociable or private as one likes.
Floodlit and surrounded by artistic leaf designs, the court is intentionally built to conform to the natural landscape. As such, padel players can appreciate the charm of nature. In other words, whilst there may be a prevalent competitiveness on court, Siargao offers a peaceful backdrop to relax and recharge.

Whilst the padel court is indeed secluded for the players’ own privacy, Nay Palad Hideaway’s team are eager to aid and support their guests. Instructors are on standby to provide one-on-one training for beginners, intermediates, or experts. Whether the racket sport is new to a guest, or familiar, the team are enthusiastic and inviting for coaching sessions.
